Assistant / Project Manager

 Based in or around Northampton

Goodrich provides high quality services in Project Management and Quantity Surveying / Employer’s Agent work to a high-profile client base, with particularly strong expertise in industrial and commercial projects alongside other sectors such as education and leisure.

We are a privately owned, growing business where our team can develop their careers and their achievements are recognised and well rewarded, and we present a new and exciting opportunity for a Assistant Project Manager / Project Manager to join our team in Northampton.

Our ideal candidate: 

  • Experienced Project Manager with a consultancy background.
  • Ability to bring enthusiasm and a willingness to learn to all situations.
  • A great ability to react to our clients’ needs in a proactive and positive manner and report directly to them.
  • Good understanding of construction technology, sufficient to carry out quality inspections and reports.
  • Experienced in construction procurement, contracts (particularly JCT) and administering projects.
  • Experience within the industrial, education and / or multi-room sectors desirable but not essential for the right candidate.
  • Candidates will either have achieved a professional qualification or be working towards achieving one. Goodrich have a strong record of supporting candidates through both the RICS and MCIOB route to chartership.
  • A demonstrable and stable track record of successful projects.
  • A natural drive to succeed – Goodrich want to achieve great things!
  • A self-starter attitude. Nothing is given and you will need to be determined, motivated and able to think creatively using initiative.
